Better Late Than Never

I have been playing around with some of my nature shots -- not really photoshopping -- but using the image and creating a visual play with it.  The above photo is "Wonderland" and so far (well the one from yesterday is pretty good) this is a favorite.

New Leaves

The best part of spring for me is looking at all the new, fresh, juicy leaves popping out all over.  The oak has an interesting shape to the branch and leaf cluster.  It appears floral to me.

Japanese Maple Spring

The Japanese Maple by the front porch is a great subject.  I have taken a lot of photos of it.  The first time it was mentioned on my regular blog was in the post "Snake and Eggs" almost three years ago.  A color version of this photo is going on the other blog today.
