I just missed the ear lick shot...

OK -- so I took this one early today just in case -- good thing -- I did not take another photo all day.

Monday night at drawing.  My photos are always better than my sketches.

Some big clouds were blowing by this afternoon.

Daffodils are in full bloom.  Today I worked in the backyard getting it ready for spring and summer.  With the help of my husband we pulled large chunks of gunk from the goldfish pond -- oh ICK!  But it looks MUCH better and the yard is shaping up.  What a nice day it was!

There are two Japanese Magnolia trees just outside of my daughter's biology classroom.  When I picked her up today, I arrived early to have time to shoot a few of the blooms.  The sky was gray and rain is coming -- but I thought these turned out OK.  I could not choose just one.

Such a nice view from the deck tonight.  Thanks to all for the emails about Sadie.  She is much better today.  Still mending -- but back to her old self after a good night's rest.

It has been one of those days.  Things could have been worse -- I wish things had not happened.

My daughter took Sadie for a walk this afternoon and two dogs viciously attacked.  My daughter only had a couple scratches.  Sadie's ear was torn  and it is stapled back in place.  She also had a few scratches and smaller cuts.  It looks like her ear will be bruised tomorrow.  The vet also put her on antibiotics.  Both Sadie and my daughter were shaken up -- understandably so.

I don't know why people have dogs and allow them to become mean and aggressive.  It seems to happen more and more.

Even though it is chilly today and there was a little sleet this morning, the lilies know it is spring.

Typical for the cat, sit around in the kitchen on a rainy day taking a snooze by the stove.

Today has been a bit busy.  Photo Club this morning, private lesson this afternoon, and walking the dog morning and evening.  Tonight after walking Sadie, I hustled over to Sams Lake to catch the last bits of light.  This was one that ended up black and white.  I like the lines with the texture of the foreground.  There are a few more from tonight on my Flickr page.

Sitting at a traffic light today -- on red -- this guy was just outside my window (and up just a little bit).  After I shot this, his buddies on the ground asked me to take their picture too.  But the light turned green and I was off after I waved goodbye to them all.

Sitting at a local Starbuck's waiting for my order -- and here was the photo of the day -- the drive through tip "jar."

Rainy days are kind of blah at our house -- what a bummer, she can't go out to play.

This little one reminded me of when mine were small.  Getting him to look at me and hold a pose for just a second was a challenge.  Here he is saying "fromage" for me.

I polished the wine coaster yesterday.  This was a gift from my uncle a long time ago.  It is a replica of George Washington's silver & oak wine coaster.  It is used a lot at my house -- but polished rarely.

You know those little labels on fruit and veggies?  In my kitchen I have a paper towel holder with a wooden frame.  That wooden frame is becoming coated with stickers from bananas, avocados, apples, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and more.

A little figurine I brought home from my grandmother's house.  He kind of looks like March.

The hyacinth is blooming -- my kitchen smells like Easter.  This photo was taken with my Lensbaby, the macro attachment and also using an extension tube for a super macro effect.

Yesterday at the grocery store I noticed a table full of spring blooming plants.  This little hyacinth was barely opening up - so I brought it home with me to photograph as it opens and blooms.

Today I took a few photos over to the Serenbe Photography Center.  On the way home I was sitting at a red light -- this was in front of me.

Dropped off my car this afternoon for regular service.  While I was waiting I walked around looking at the old cars on display and finding a few interesting reflections.

Midday today I was in Jonesboro, Georgia at the Arts Clayton Gallery picking up a small painting I had in their February show.  When I walked out a train was going by across Main Street from the gallery.  After I got to my car, the train was still traveling.  I grabbed the camera, with the Lensbaby attached, and took a series of shots.  This one was my favorite.  I like the sky -- so pretty -- in contrast with the freight cars.

Atlanta got some snow again today.  At our house it was a fizzle out -- nothing much -- wet, cold, but melting flakes.  I had planned to take perhaps the last snow shot of the season today -- but it did not happen due to there not being much here to shoot.  So, here is a snow(globe) shot for today.

It is March!  Month three starts today.  As I was driving through downtown Newnan this morning I spotted my reflection in the windows.
