That fruit looks fantastic, that's an interesting combination which I've never tried before Donna, maybe one of these fine days I'll have to give it a shot. What do you add to your fruit if you don't mind me asking?
Hello! This is very good -- we had some last night with vanilla ice cream on top. Here is my "by the seat of my pants" recipe :)
8 small peaches & 1 pint blueberries peel peaches, mix fruit & spread in baking dish sprayed with Pam and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour, 3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal, a little ground ginger and cinnamon -- mix until crumbly and top the fruit with it.
bake in 350 preheated oven for 45-55 minutes -- until browned and bubbly.
I'm going to have to try this sometime. I made some pineapple and peach jam a few years back, I bet that this would also make an amazing crisp. The jam was delicious!
